Drive-in Shabbat, October 23

Friday, October 23, 2020 5 Cheshvan 5781

6:15 PM - 7:15 PMCongregation Shaarei Kodesh

Are you ready to get out of your house AGAIN for a LIVE SHABBAT while staying in a healthy, safe, socially distanced environment? It was great last time, and will be great again!

As part of the Synagogue Vegan Challenge, during this Shabbat service, and from the comfort of your car, we will learn what the Torah has to say about our human responsibility towards the animals with which we share our planet.   Our very own Rabbi David Baum is preparing a special sermon on Noah, to be submitted to the Animal Welfare Sermon Contest – From Adam to Noah, From Vegan to Omnivore.

As an attendee,  you will receive a special plant-based goody bag to enjoy noshing on from the comfort of your car. BUT, to get this goody bag, you must RSVP.

On the day of the event:

  • Arrive at CSK at 6:00 pm
  • Find a comfortable spot to park your vehicle in the back of the building
  • Tune into FM 88.3 on your car radio
  • Receive your plant-based Shabbat goody bag
