Cantor Yakov Hadash

Cantor Yakov Hadash was invested as a Cantor from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2011 with degrees from the both Cantorial School and Davidson School of Jewish Education. Prior to that, he graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Music.

When not serving at Congregation Shaarei Kodesh, he works at Posnack Jewish Day School and Music’s Cool Day Camp.

Among the instruments he plays are piano, guitar, trombone, ukulele, darbouka, and melodica.

In his spare time, he enjoys riding his bicycle, cooking, roller skating, and playing video games.
