WELCOME TO CONGREGATION SHAAREI KODESH!
Here at CSK, as we are fondly referred to, you will find a warm and vibrant community where all who enter find their place in our intimate family setting. We seek to meet the needs of our diverse population, from singles and young families to seniors. CSK actively engages in all aspects of Jewish life. Regular Shabbat and holiday services and celebrations are central to life at CSK, and we linger over kiddush lunch to connect and catch up. We welcome members to actively participate in services and chant Torah and Haftarah. We celebrate with our families as our children reach the age of Bar/Bat Mitzvah, as well as weddings, births, anniversaries, and other personal milestones. In times of need, CSK provides pastoral care, shiva and yahrzeit minyans, in addition to meals, hospital and home visits to congregants.
And YES! We are very social! Whether it’s a themed family Purim celebration or a tailgate party at the Dolphins, you will find many fun and informative programs for all age groups and interests. Educational events, guest speakers and learning with Rabbi Baum are all greatly enjoyed. CSK’s Kol Isha Sisterhood and Men’s Club host timely and relevant programming. Our religious school is very highly regarded and led by a senior Jewish educator with over 20 years of experience. Our youth are actively engaged in CSK USY Youth Groups from 3rd-12th Grades. Congregation Shaarei Kodesh is also active in social action programs. We believe that we all have a responsibility to help repair the world, Tikkun Olam.
Congregation Shaarei Kodesh is a Conservative, egalitarian Synagogue, affiliated with USCJ. We are a kehillah that encourages worship, the study of Torah, reverence towards God, continued education, Jewish culture, tzedakah and unwavering support for the land of Israel.
If you have not yet visited us, please join us for services or a social event. I encourage you to experience our unique community here at Congregation Shaarei Kodesh. We know this is a place where you will find warmth, purpose, a sense of belonging and meaningful friendships.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you as we journey together on a path to holiness.
