Jack Rosenbaum, Religious School Director

Besides being the new Religious School Director of the Shaarei Kodesh Religious School, Jack Rosenbaum, M.Ed. is the principal at Temple Beth Am in Margate. He also is the Director the March of the Living of the Southern Region of the U.S.A. As Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer of Panim: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values Mr. Rosenbaum brought more than 1,000 high school students from all part of the USA to Washington, DC, to discover the power each teen has based on Jewish values and social action. Mr. R, as he is known to students and families, has served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Jewish Education Commission of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and as the Assistant Executive Director of the David Posnack Jewish Community Center in South Broward County. He was the Director of Camp Ted Weisberg at the Adolph and Rose Levis JCC for seven years. Mr. Rosenbaum has 35 years of experience in Jewish communal work in the fields of social service and education. He trains teachers at workshops in South Florida and has created curriculum for Camp Ramah in New England and for the March of the Living. Among his most satisfying accomplishments was creating, developing and implementing educational programs for Jewish teens and children with special needs in South Palm Beach County called the Otzar Program, which is still in existence at the Levis JCC. Mr. Rosenbaum served as a Board member of the national Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education, responsible for youth and college programming.
